A project in branding, print, digital, and experiential design.
My last project at Samsøe Samsøe started out as an invitation design. I worked with the PR team to design a flyer to be sent out to influencers and special guests for an event in Oslo, Norway. The theme, centered on bubbles and oysters, began with geometric shapes representing glasses and the graphic mark.
Through feedback and iteration, I suggested we pivot to a hand-drawn, simple illustrated style, to complement the restaurant’s (EFF EFF in Oslo) visual identity.
The team decided to go forward with the graphic style, and the next steps included creating print collateral such as coasters, menus, labels, and window vinyls. We decided to incorporate EFF EFF’s blue and white brand colors into the rest of the assets for the event.
This project remains one of my favorites with Samsøe Samsøe! As a graphic design intern, I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate across departments, express my opinions, and explore my passions for branding and illustration.
