After taking a course in motion graphics, I wanted to get more practice animating text, pacing, and experimenting with different ways of bringing text in and out of the screen.
Working alongside the director, Lauren Bessey, we decided on a suitable typeface previously used in some promotional material. I was inspired by the vintage quality of the footage, which was filmed on my CD camcorder, and wanted to bring the same quality into the animations. I decided to add a neon glow effect, that looks like something off of an old TV, and a glitch in and out transition.
